Associate Vice President, Professional Liability Treaty Underwriter

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Professional Lines Treaty Underwriter to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting and managing a portfolio of U.S. professional lines treaty reinsurance business. This includes evaluating new and renewal submissions, developing pricing and structuring recommendations, and supporting broker and cedant relationship management. The role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in professional lines underwriting and reinsurance, particularly in treaty structures. The AVP will be expected to contribute to profitable growth, portfolio optimization, and disciplined underwriting execution in line with the company's values and business objectives. Applicants should have 5-8 years' of relevant experience, with a focus on U.S. professional lines, treaty structures, underwriting analytics, and portfolio management principles. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and professional designations such as CPCU, ARe, or progress toward completion are preferred. The role demands a candidate with strong technical and behavioral competencies, including the ability to synthesize complex data, effective communication skills, and a collaborative approach to work. The AVP will also be involved in business development, renewal strategy, and will be expected to maintain awareness of market trends and regulatory considerations.
