Chief Compliance Officer (CCO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to lead the independent administration and continuous improvement of its enterprise Compliance and Privacy Program. The CCO will be responsible for establishing a risk-based framework to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. This includes leading the design, implementation, and evaluation of the compliance program, serving as a strategic advisor to the executive team, and overseeing the enterprise compliance committee. The role also involves leading the compliance risk assessment process, monitoring and auditing for various compliance areas, and providing guidance on the MSO model and management services arrangements. The CCO will be the primary liaison with federal and state regulators and will be expected to stay abreast of industry standards and translate them into practical compliance controls. Candidates for the CCO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree strongly preferred, and at least 10 years of experience in healthcare compliance, privacy, regulatory, legal, or related areas. A strong background in healthcare fraud and abuse, including knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-state operations, growth through acquisitions, and a proven track record of leading a compliance and privacy program. Certification in healthcare compliance is strongly preferred. The role requires exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to influence and challenge leaders. The CCO must have a high level of integrity, strong relationship-building skills, and a commitment to an ethical, speak-up culture.
