The Company is seeking a Chief Program Officer to play a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction for its emergency shelter and permanent supportive housing programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and growing the organization's innovative programs, tracking sector trends, and shaping the overall strategy in partnership with the Executive Director. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a Master's degree, a minimum of 15 years' experience in the human services sector, and a proven track record in program innovation, supervision, and fiscal management. The Chief Program Officer will also be tasked with establishing program success metrics, ensuring compliance with funder requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Candidates for the Chief Program Officer role at the company should have a strong background in a shelter environment, with expertise in developing and monitoring outcome metrics for homeless services, mental health, substance use services, or related fields. The role demands a visionary leader with excellent writing and interpersonal skills, the ability to collaborate with a dynamic leadership team, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. While not mandatory, a LCSW and strong community and government relationships in New York City are preferred. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, comfortable in a fast-moving environment, and dedicated to championing the organization's mission and values.
