Vice President, Data Architecture

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Senior Data Architect to lead the design of enterprise data architecture, ensuring a trusted single source of truth in asset management. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing data standards, integrating enterprise data sources, and driving the use of modern technologies to enhance data governance and analytics. Key duties include designing scalable analytics and reporting capabilities, developing semantic models, and partnering with stakeholders to define KPIs and reusable reporting models. The role also involves ensuring data platform security, resilience, and compliance in a regulated environment, as well as documenting architecture, data flows, and operational procedures. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in data architecture or enterprise data platform delivery. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and Power BI is essential, as are strong SQL and Python skills with visualization package experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data warehousing, modeling, and governance practices, and experience with data governance tools. Knowledge of data security, compliance, and audit requirements is also required, with a preference for those with experience in Azure data platforms and investment data. Excellent communication skills are a must, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
