Greater New York City, NY Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Quantitative Research Analyst to lead its credit coverage. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and leading the credit execution research agenda, which includes market impact and liquidity modeling, counterparty and platform selection, portfolio trading, and transaction cost analysis. This role requires a professional with a background in quantitative research or markets, particularly in the credit or broader fixed-income space, and a deep understanding of credit market structure and data landscape. The VP will be expected to apply advanced quantitative methods to trade and quote data, guide the research roadmap for the execution analytics platform, and represent the credit research externally. Additionally, the role involves strengthening research quality across the team and requires the ability to work with a disciplined research process to ensure robust outcomes. Applicants for this role at the company should possess a practical understanding of where ML/AI can add value in execution research, as well as experience with kdb+/q and Databricks. The role demands the ability to scope and prioritize research, and to explain complex analysis clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with rates or FX market structure is also a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of taking research from problem formulation to application, and the ability to maintain and develop stakeholder relationships.
