Vice President, Quantitative Research Analyst, Credit, Execution Research & Advisory
About the Role
Greater New York City, NY Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Quantitative Research Analyst to lead its credit execution research agenda. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting a multi-phase roadmap that includes market impact and liquidity modeling, counterparty and platform selection, portfolio trading, and transaction cost analysis. This role requires the application of advanced quantitative methods to high-granularity trade and quote data, as well as the ability to guide the research roadmap for proprietary execution analytics. The VP will also act as the primary point of contact for credit, representing the research externally and maintaining relationships with traders and portfolio managers. Applicants should have professional experience in a quantitative research or markets role within the credit or broader fixed-income space, with a strong understanding of credit market structure and the credit data landscape. The role demands a practical understanding of where ML/AI can add value in execution research and decision support, as well as the ability to scope and prioritize research effectively. Familiarity with rates or FX market structure, experience with kdb+/q and Databricks, and a background in representing a research team to external stakeholders are considered advantageous. The ideal candidate will be adept at explaining complex analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences and will be expected to strengthen research quality across the wider team.
