The Company is seeking a Vice President, Acquisition Underwriting to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the evaluation, underwriting, structuring, and closing of acquisition opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of financial analysis, due diligence, and the ability to prepare comprehensive underwriting models to support investment decision-making. The Vice President will also be responsible for the review and negotiation of acquisition-related legal documents, as well as coordinating with third-party consultants during the due diligence process. Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Acquisition Underwriting include developing detailed financial models, assessing various financial assumptions, and conducting sensitivity analyses to evaluate risk and potential returns. The role demands a professional with a strong background in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or a principal investment role, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience, possess strong financial modeling skills, and have a solid understanding of business valuation, market analysis, and capital markets. Excellent communication, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a commitment to professionalism and respect are essential. The role also requires core competencies in customer focus, compassion, and ethics, as well as the ability to demonstrate business acumen, decision quality, negotiating skills, political savvy, presentation skills, and problem-solving abilities.
