The Company is seeking an AVP for Data Trust and Enablement in the Property and Casualty Insurance sector. This executive will be at the forefront of a transformative initiative, leading the establishment of a best-in-class data governance, quality, and risk management function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that data across the business is trusted, compliant, and actionable, with a focus on the full data lifecycle from creation to consumption. This role is pivotal in addressing long-standing challenges and building sustainable capabilities to strengthen data management. The AVP will work closely with leaders in various business functions to enhance data accountability, quality, and confidence in the information used for critical business decisions. Candidates for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in data-related disciplines within a personal lines property and casualty insurance or similarly regulated environment. The role requires a proven track record in leading enterprise-scale data governance, quality, and control programs, as well as a deep understanding of how data is utilized across the P&C value chain. The ideal candidate will have experience in first-line risk management, control frameworks, and will be adept at influencing and driving organizational change. Success in this position demands a hands-on, practitioner approach, with the ability to operationalize governance and quality programs effectively. The AVP will also be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, and ensuring that data-related risks are effectively managed in accordance with policies and procedures.
