The Company is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with a strong background in the financial services industry, particularly in the area of onboarding platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs, contributing to application systems analysis and programming activities. This role requires the ability to monitor and control all phases of the development process, provide user and operational support, and ensure the implementation of security measures. The Senior Automation Engineer will also be expected to consult with users and other technology groups, recommend advanced programming solutions, and serve as an advisor to junior analysts. Applicants for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 10 years in a SCRUM or Agile engineering environment. The role demands in-depth knowledge of Java, Selenium, SOAP UI, SQL, jUnit, BDD, and JIRA, as well as experience in building automation frameworks and implementing BDD frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the successful automation of systems with complex architecture and be adept at both Selenium and API automation. Strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a go-getter mindset are essential. The role also requires the candidate to be a mentor to junior resources, manage projects independently, and have a very good understanding of continuous test execution and feedback loops in the QE space.
