Vice President, Software Development Engineer in Test Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Software Development Engineer in Test with a focus on AI-first and agent-first approaches to quality engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning product quality and defining and implementing AI-driven and agentic AI use cases across the testing lifecycle. This includes leading the design and implementation of automated validation solutions, owning the quality for the account information platform, and contributing as a hands-on senior engineer in all aspects of the development process. The role requires a strong background in software engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes. Applicants must have a proven track record in defining and implementing agentic AI approaches for software testing, with a strong emphasis on an agents-first mindset. Practical experience with generative AI, coding assistants, and a minimum of 14 years in the IT industry, including substantial hands-on experience in software development and test engineering, is essential. The role demands expert-level programming skills in Java, strong experience with Selenium and Playwright, and a deep understanding of API and service-level automation. The candidate should also have a strong background in software design principles, and engineering practices, and experience in integrating automated validation into CI/CD pipelines.
