Senior Vice President, Audit Leader, Technology, Data & Model Audit Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead and perform risk-focused audits of model risk management across the first and second lines of defense. Responsibilities include testing model development and validation processes and controls, identifying current and emerging risks, preparing audit reports, and following up on corrective actions. The role may lead audit projects or carry out assigned procedures independently, while ensuring work meets internal standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will also contribute to continuous monitoring, represent Internal Audit in project and management discussions, and collaborate with and mentor colleagues. Candidates should have an advanced degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, economics, physics, financial engineering, or computer science; a PhD is preferred. At least 10 years of relevant work or academic research experience in model development, validation, or audit is required, along with strong quantitative, analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Applicants should understand model risk management and the global financial regulatory landscape, and be proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, or C. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to apply analytics and AI are also important.
