Vice President, Application Development Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking an Applications Development Senior Manager to lead and manage a team in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving application systems analysis and programming activities, with a focus on strategic engineering leadership, multi-scrum governance, and end-to-end delivery accountability. This role requires a hands-on technical authority with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, cloud-native microservices, and distributed persistence/messaging architectures. The candidate should also have a strong background in solution architecture, coding standards, and continuous code quality reviews, and be adept at driving architectural modernization initiatives. Key responsibilities for this role at the company include leading and mentoring cross-functional Scrum teams, championing engineering excellence, and ensuring the adoption of CI/CD best practices. The role also involves driving AI and agentic automation transformation, as well as data platform and infrastructure modernization. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with a proven track record in stakeholder and people management, leadership, and project management. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and the candidate should have a basic knowledge of industry practices and standards, and demonstrate clear and concise communication skills.
