This role involves exercising overall supervision of security personnel, participating in the selection, hiring, training, and evaluation of staff, and responding to emergency situations. The Chief of Security will also be involved in the formulation of escape and riot control plans and may assist in long-range planning and community coordination efforts. Applicants for the Chief of Security position at the company should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field. A minimum of 5 years' progressive work experience in a correctional environment, including 2 years of management experience, is required.
