Vice President, Medical Affairs

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Medical Affairs to serve as a senior physician leader and member of the hospital leadership team. The role provides leadership and guidance across quality, case management, clinical research, and clinical information systems, while overseeing medical staff functions such as credentialing, education, utilization, compliance, and physician development. Responsibilities include collaborating with medical staff leaders, supporting strategic planning and succession planning, and advancing patient care quality, safety, and performance improvement. The VP will also participate in governance and committee work, represent physician interests, and support clinical programs and technology initiatives. Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O., be board-certified in a clinical specialty, and have or be able to obtain a state medical license. At least five years of clinical experience and two years of leadership or management experience, or equivalent, are required. Applicants should understand accreditation standards, state licensing requirements, and the healthcare industry, and demonstrate success in building physician relationships. An MBA or MHA is preferred.
