Associate General Counsel

The Company is in search of an Associate General Counsel to play a key role in its mission to redefine wealth management through technology and expertise. This pivotal position involves shaping the legal foundation of a fast-growing fintech, with a focus on the intersection of technology and financial services. The successful candidate will be the primary legal partner for business teams, handling a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, transactional work, and regulatory issues. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of contract review and negotiation, close collaboration with compliance on regulatory questions, and support for corporate transactions in an investment adviser and broker-dealer environment. The ideal candidate for the Associate General Counsel role at the company will have a JD from an accredited law school, active bar membership, and in-house legal experience within technology, financial services, or fintech. A strong background in corporate/transactional or regulatory law, proven ability to independently manage commercial agreements, and excellent communication skills are essential. The role also requires the ability to support financings, strategic partnerships, M&A diligence, and to help shape the company's response to evolving legal and regulatory developments. The candidate should be comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be willing to engage deeply with regulatory frameworks. Building internal training resources and managing outside counsel on specialized matters are also core aspects of the position.
