Head of Refractory Installation Remote (anywhere in Canada)

The Company is seeking a Head of Refractory Installation to oversee and lead all refractory construction and installation operations across multiple provinces in Canada. This strategic leadership role is pivotal in driving profitable growth, operational excellence, and maintaining full accountability for the profit and loss performance of the Canadian installation business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from quotation and planning to execution and commissioning, and must work closely with sales, project management, technical, and operational teams to ensure the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of projects. Key responsibilities for the Head of Refractory Installation include leading and growing the refractory installation and construction business, maintaining strong financial results, and overseeing the full construction project lifecycle. The role also involves leading and developing high-performing project teams, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions, and driving project performance in line with customer expectations and company standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, be fluent in English and French, and have a minimum of 5 years' industrial project management experience. They should demonstrate progressive leadership, a proven track record in managing P&L, and strong strategic thinking with a customer-focused approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience with refractory products or related heavy industries is considered an asset.
