Head of Contract Management, HVDC Remote (anywhere in Germany)

The Company is seeking a Head of Contract Management to lead contract activities across a portfolio of high-voltage direct-current projects. The role carries end-to-end accountability from commercial handover through client acceptance and resolution of outstanding obligations. Responsibilities include leading and developing contract managers, advising project and cross-functional teams, and shaping contract strategies for procurement, engineering, construction, commissioning, and testing. The successful candidate will oversee customer communications, change orders, claims, margin initiatives, subcontract negotiations, and warranty matters, while contributing to the strategic direction of the contract management function. Candidates should hold a degree in engineering, ideally high-voltage electrical engineering, with a strong grounding in international contract law, or a law degree, preferably with a construction specialization. Substantial experience managing complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects is required. Applicants should demonstrate strong risk assessment and analytical skills, sound judgment on contractual rights and obligations, accountability, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Fluency in written and spoken German and English is essential, along with technical knowledge of electrical engineering, civil works, or offshore construction.
