Vice President of Engineering Remote (anywhere in United States) + 1 more

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead software engineering, DevOps, and data, while contributing to executive-level strategy. The role is responsible for developing and supporting engineering teams, setting technical and operational direction, and improving the quality and predictability of delivery. The successful candidate will keep engineering closely connected to customer needs and partner across business functions to guide priorities and capacity. They will also shape the organization’s approach to AI, oversee architecture and reliability, lead incident response, and support security and compliance requirements for a regulated platform. Candidates should have at least seven years of software engineering experience, including three or more years leading engineering organizations through managers, and prior senior engineering leadership experience. Strong knowledge of backend systems, APIs, distributed architecture, infrastructure, and data is required, along with experience guiding DevOps teams. Applicants should bring hands-on experience leading AI adoption, a record of building resilient teams through change, and strong cross-functional and customer-facing partnership skills. Experience in a regulated or security-sensitive industry is important; familiarity with financial services, security programs, or AI-enabled products is an advantage.
