Head of Research & Development

The Company is seeking a Head of Research and Development with a strong background in food science, biochemistry, or a related discipline. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and consolidating the technical know-how within the R&D team, ensuring its constant growth and sharing. This role involves leading development projects across multiple categories, incorporating design expertise in line with brand strategy, and actively seeking best-in-class technologies to develop an innovation roadmap. The Head of R&D will also partner with product managers to ensure customer focus, co-develop product roadmaps, and maintain a relevant product suite to support strategic growth objectives. Candidates for this position should have a minimum of 10 years' of industry experience in product development, with a preference for those who have worked with recognized national or multinational food or pharma manufacturing companies. An advanced degree in a relevant field is highly preferred. The role requires a candidate with a strong commercialization background, at least 3 years' of experience in team management, and a proven track record of building and maintaining high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate business goals into R&D strategies, possess strong business and financial acumen, and demonstrate excellent communication, influencing skills, and a strong customer focus. Additionally, the Head of R&D will be expected to drive accountability, be self-motivated, and have a performance-driven approach.
