Head of Client Reporting, Client Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of Client Reporting to oversee the client reporting function in Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate, timely, and high-quality delivery of a large volume of client reports, including customized reporting solutions for institutional and retail clients. This role demands a leader with extensive experience in institutional client reporting, particularly with a focus on public pension funds, financial institutions, and asset management clients. The Head of Client Reporting will be accountable for maintaining a best-in-class reporting capability through strong people leadership, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement. Key responsibilities include team management, quality control, deadline management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves enhancing the operating model, driving process automation, and collaborating with various internal departments to support the business. Candidates for the Head of Client Reporting position at the company should have a university degree or equivalent professional qualification, with a preference for industry-specific certifications such as CFA, CMA, CAIA, or similar. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading reporting or operations-related teams within a global organization, with a strong understanding of investment products and reporting methodologies. Essential skills include native-level Japanese and business-fluent English, strong leadership and people management capabilities, and the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and geographies. The role requires excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to manage operational risks and drive business continuity and resilience.
