Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Greater Vilnius, Lithuania Area

The Company is seeking a Regional Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to spearhead the establishment and leadership of a top-tier enterprise risk management framework. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and maintaining the company's risk management strategy across all regulated activities, ensuring the effective management of a wide range of risks, and supporting sustainable business growth and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities for the CRO include overseeing financial, operational, regulatory, technology, and digital asset risks, as well as ensuring compliance with a variety of European regulatory requirements. The role also involves advising the Executive Team and Board on risk strategy, governance, and emerging regulatory developments, and leading various risk management programs. Applicants for the CRO position at the company should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in risk management within regulated financial services, with a background that includes previous roles as a Chief Risk Officer, Head of Risk, or senior risk executive in a relevant financial institution or fintech. A strong knowledge of enterprise risk management, governance, internal controls, and regulatory expectations is essential, as is a deep understanding of European payment services, banking operations, and financial crime risk. Experience with MiCA, digital assets, blockchain-based financial services, or crypto risk management is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to engage with Boards, regulators, auditors, and executive leadership, and possess strong analytical, strategic, and decision-making skills to balance innovation with prudent risk management.
