The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Clinical Research Development with a focus on oncology. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and conducting early and late-stage clinical development trials, including the assessment of clinical safety and efficacy data, medical monitoring, and other study-related clinical activities. This key role involves collaborating with various functions within the company, such as discovery, translational and biomarker research scientists, toxicologists, clinical pharmacologists, drug safety specialists, and regulatory personnel, to ensure the advancement of new therapies to patients. The Executive Director will also be expected to have a strong background in clinical practice with direct patient care, a track record in leading clinical trials, and experience with IND and/or NDA/BLA filings. Applicants must have an MD degree with a minimum of 7-10 years of clinical experience, including at least 3 years in the current drug/clinical research development in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. A strong knowledge of clinical research methodologies, GCP, and regulatory requirements is essential, as is a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The role requires a candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong passion for clinical trials, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes. The Executive Director will be expected to work closely with functional partners to address protocol questions from Health Authorities and Ethics Committees in a consistent manner and to ensure the integrated approach to the flawless execution of study protocols in clinical development.
