Executive Director

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its philanthropic efforts in South Jersey. The successful candidate will be a strategic and entrepreneurial leader, responsible for growing philanthropic assets, cultivating donor relationships, and advancing community impact. This role is pivotal in the organization's potential transition to full operational independence and requires a leader who can define and implement a clear strategic vision, strengthen the Foundation's identity, and lead organizational development. The Executive Director will also be a visible champion for philanthropy, building authentic relationships with diverse stakeholders, and ensuring that the Foundation's work reflects the needs and aspirations of the community. Candidates for the Executive Director position should have significant senior leadership experience in a relevant social-sector environment, a strong track record in fundraising and donor engagement, and a deep understanding of the role of philanthropy in community development. The ideal candidate will be a connector and storyteller, with exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, and a strong personal connection to or commitment to the South Jersey region. A collaborative leadership style, a commitment to equity and inclusion, and the ability to lead a small organization through a period of growth and change are essential. A bachelor's degree is preferred, but substantial relevant professional experience will be considered.
