The Company is in need of an Executive Medical Director for Clinical Development, with a focus on oncology, particularly in the myeloma disease area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and oversight of cell therapy programs, as well as leading a portfolio of clinical trial programs in this space. This role involves collaboration with external partners, leading the clinical development strategy, and managing a team of direct reports. Daily responsibilities include the design, conduct, and reporting of clinical trials, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Applicants must have an MD or DO with at least 7 years of clinical, scientific, or drug development experience in the biopharma industry, healthcare, consulting, academia, or a related environment. Board certification in hematology or medical oncology is preferred, with a strong background in clinical oncology. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading complex drug development strategies, a minimum of 3 years of line management experience, and a thorough understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements. The role also requires experience in interacting with executives, managing large-scale budgets, and a strong knowledge of drug development processes. The Executive Medical Director will be expected to adhere to GCP and ICH guidelines and to contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
