Vice President, Business Architecture Greater Boston, MA Area

The Company is seeking a Business Architect, VP to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the development, maturation, and institutionalization of the business architecture function, with a focus on aligning business capabilities, processes, and operating models with the evolving business strategy. This role is pivotal in the firm's transformation towards a Product, Platform, and Service (PPS) operating model, and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supporting business architecture functions within complex, matrixed organizations. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining business capability models, value streams, and operating models, as well as providing architectural oversight for transformation initiatives and strategic programs. Applicants for the Business Architect, VP position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in business architecture, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or strategic transformation, preferably within the financial services sector. The role requires strong expertise in business capability modeling, value stream mapping, and operating model design, as well as technical proficiency in solution architecture and experience with cloud platforms. Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, BIZBOK, or ArchiMate is essential. The candidate should be adept at translating business strategy into technology and data solutions, and possess excellent communication, facilitation, and strategic thinking skills. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with an MBA or advanced degree being preferred.
