Chief Operating Officer (COO), Manufacturing

The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong background in industrial manufacturing, particularly in the areas of pipe, steel, or heavy industrial manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the company's operations, profitability, and strategic growth initiatives across the GCC. This hands-on leadership role demands a leader who can drive end-to-end business and manufacturing operations, ensure operational and financial performance, and lead the company through its next phase of growth. Key responsibilities include overseeing production, engineering, quality, supply chain, and HSE, driving manufacturing efficiency, and taking ownership of operating budgets and commercial decision-making. Candidates for the COO position at the company should have approximately 15-20 years' of relevant professional experience, with a significant background in senior manufacturing and business leadership. A strong understanding of manufacturing overheads, costing, margins, and operational profitability is essential, as is demonstrable P&L responsibility and strong financial and commercial acumen. The role requires a leader with the ability to manage complex, project-based manufacturing operations, and who has a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams. Experience in the Oil & Gas and EPC sectors, as well as exposure to GCC markets, is a must. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related discipline is preferred. The ideal candidate will also have a strong leadership capability and be able to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
