Associate Vice President, Global Credit Finance, Liquid Credit Funds
About the Role
Greater New York City, NY Area (Hybrid)
The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Global Credit Finance within its Liquid Credit Funds division. The successful candidate will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities, including supporting all aspects of fund management such as finance, operations, tax, fund accounting, and financial reporting. This role demands a professional with a strong background in accounting and finance, a working knowledge of the credit industry and investment products, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders. The individual will be expected to take full ownership of their responsibilities, manage the development of junior team members, and contribute to strategic initiatives related to technology and process enhancements. Applicants for this position should have a Bachelor's degree, with a concentration in accounting and/or finance, and a CPA is preferred. A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience is required, with a background in private credit or public accounting being advantageous. The role also requires a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly in the area of corporate consolidations, and knowledge of structured credit and/or structured finance. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, a self-starter, and possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. They should be capable of working under pressure, managing multiple priorities, and have a proven track record of managing and developing junior team members. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position.
