Vice President, Data & Analytics

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Data & Analytics to spearhead the development and management of its enterprise data platform. This executive will be responsible for the end-to-end data lifecycle, from ingestion to transformation, and will ensure that the data is a reliable and trusted foundation for decision-making across the organization. The role involves leading a team of data engineers and analysts, setting data governance and security standards, and driving a cultural shift towards data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will be a key partner to senior leaders, translating business needs into data requirements, and will be instrumental in the strategic planning and execution of data and analytics initiatives. Candidates for the Vice President, Data & Analytics position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in data engineering, analytics, or data architecture, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role. Deep expertise in modern cloud data stacks, particularly the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, is essential. The role requires a proven track record in delivering enterprise BI solutions and experience in integrating data from complex, multi-module enterprise systems. Strong technical skills in SQL and a scripting language, as well as experience in data governance and leading organizational change, are also necessary. A background in multifamily real estate or a related asset class is preferred, along with relevant certifications and an advanced degree in a related field.
