Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Market Public Affairs include serving as a trusted advisor to the Regional President and market leadership team, leading market-based public affairs teams, and coordinating public affairs activities to ensure a unified approach. The role also involves overseeing market media relations, community affairs, and local government relations, and maintaining strong relationships with various external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading integrated public affairs functions within large, complex organizations, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and its stakeholder environments. Experience in highly regulated industries, particularly healthcare, and a background in represented labor environments, are strongly preferred.
