Vice President, Global Category Management, Electronics

The Company is in search of a Vice President for Global Category Management in Electronics. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and owning the global electronics category vision and strategy, ensuring it aligns with enterprise priorities and product roadmaps. This role demands a leader who can drive cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and innovation through robust category strategies, as well as architect a resilient global supply base. The Vice President will also lead strategic supplier partnerships, and executive reviews, and monitor market dynamics to provide executive-ready insights. Candidates for this executive position should have a minimum of 15 years' of leadership experience in global procurement, category management, strategic sourcing, or engineering within the electronics sector. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for an MBA, MS in Engineering, or equivalent. The role calls for an individual with a proven track record in leading negotiations, contracting, and shaping enterprise procurement strategies. Experience in the electronics and semiconductor ecosystems, production processes, and market dynamics is essential, as is the ability to lead global teams through supply disruptions and geopolitical challenges. The Vice President will be expected to partner with various business units to embed engineering and value-based procurement practices.
