The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to spearhead the global accounting operations for its fulfillment and transportation businesses. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of AI adoption and automation, driving initiatives to enhance the accuracy, speed, control, and scalability of the transactional accounting stack. Key responsibilities include leading pre-audit, billing, invoicing, AR/collections, AP, GL, payroll oversight, and financial close. The role demands a strategic leader who can own the AI adoption roadmap for accounting, model the use of GPT-based tools, and partner with IT and Automation Engineering to implement AI-enabled systems and workflows. The VP of Accounting will also be responsible for leading a distributed team and improving key financial metrics. Applicants for the Vice President of Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting experience, including Controller-level ownership. A CPA designation is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-volume transactional accounting environments, experience with AI platforms and GPT-based tools, and a background in 3PL, logistics, transportation, or supply chain. Skills in AI adoption leadership, accounting workflow automation, and process redesign are essential, as is the ability to lead a global team and manage financial analysis and risk.
