The Company is seeking a VP - IFRS 9 Finance Lead to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of Expected Credit Loss (ECL) results for all Wholesale and Retail sites. This role demands a professional with over 15 years of experience in the financial services domain, particularly in the areas of finance and risk operations. The VP will be at the forefront of the ECL process, which includes calculation, analysis, reporting, and supporting the disclosure of ECL. The role also involves navigating a dynamic environment, managing challenging timelines, and ensuring compliance with IFRS 9 requirements, SOX controls, and group accounting policies. Key responsibilities for the VP - IFRS 9 Finance Lead include owning the end-to-end IFRS 9 ECL process, building and maintaining relationships with various global and local teams, supporting strategic IFRS 9 initiatives, and leading a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a deep understanding of credit risk, and the ability to interpret and implement accounting, regulatory, and disclosure changes. They should be adept at managing change, driving innovation, and acting as trusted partners to senior stakeholders. The role requires a professional who can communicate complex information effectively, lead through ambiguity, and ensure the continuous development and engagement of their team.
