Associate Vice President, Customer Onboarding & Specialist, Business Banking Greater Hong Kong Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Customer Onboarding and a Specialist in Business Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing clients through the full onboarding ecosystem, ensuring complete and accurate documentation, and driving disciplined follow-ups to meet the company's AML/KYC standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves serving as the dedicated, customer-facing point of contact, engaging with clients to confirm requirements, providing proactive status updates, and resolving queries. The AVP will also be expected to identify opportunities to support customers' broader banking needs during onboarding and refer clients to appropriate products and services. Applicants should have a university degree in business administration or a related field, with a strong understanding of industry operating models and risk drivers. A proven track record in providing high-standard customer service, knowledge of commercial banking, and KYC regulatory requirements for corporate customers are essential. The role requires proficiency in both English and Chinese, with good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with Mandarin-speaking customers. Professional qualifications such as ECF and/or CB under the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers are advantageous. The ideal candidate will have a high level of customer-centricity and a dedication to delivering exceptional quality services.
