About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Financial Crime Advisory within its Institutional Banking Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert financial crime advisory to ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and internal policies. This includes conducting reviews on financial crime-related risk assessments, managing financial crime-related projects, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to update compliance policies and procedures. The role also involves assisting in the preparation of management reports, risk metrics, and regulatory submissions. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial crime compliance function, with a focus on AML/CFT advisory in banking and financial institutions. A strong understanding of AML/CFT regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and experience in handling high-risk relationships is essential. The role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities. A professional certification in compliance, such as ACAMS or ICA, is highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing ad hoc compliance queries and be committed to upholding the values of trust and integrity in business banking.
