Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis to play a pivotal role in the development of its financial infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial planning, from long-range strategy to annual budgeting and rolling forecasts. This role is particularly suited to a professional with a background in a marketplace, e-commerce, or consumer platform business, where GMV and contribution margin are key performance indicators. The VP will work closely with the CFO on various financial matters, including board presentations, investor communications, and KPI reporting. A significant aspect of the position is the ownership of the company-wide operating model and the ability to influence business decisions based on financial data. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 12-15 years' experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, or consulting, with at least 4 years in a leadership role. The role requires a deep understanding of the physical-goods cost stack and the ability to present financial information effectively to both the board and the team. The ideal candidate will be adept at building and mentoring a finance team, as well as managing the finance systems roadmap. A background in a high-growth, AI-forward environment is essential, and the ability to work with a focus on trust, transparency, and innovation is a must.
