Associate Vice President, Credit Risk Professional, Diversified Industries

The Company is seeking a Credit Risk Professional with a focus on diversified industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for the active portfolio management of designated customers, including the analysis of credit risk, determination of accurate ratings, and the preparation of detailed credit memos. This role requires collaboration with the business line to ensure the safety and soundness of the portfolio, as well as the coordination of critical account information with various parties. The Credit Risk Professional will also be involved in deal support, working with business lines to identify prospective transactions, and demonstrating strong communication skills in providing relevant information and analyses for credit recommendations. Applicants must have 7-11 years' of experience in credit and/or portfolio management within the specified sectors, with a deep understanding of general corporate credit analysis, credit and risk management, underwriting leveraged loans, and conducting valuation analysis. The ability to build complex financial models and a strong knowledge of loan documentation and structural risks in corporate finance are essential. Experience with the regulatory environment in both Japan and the U.S. is beneficial. The role demands a professional who can ensure compliance with external regulatory and internal policy requirements, and who is adept at performing due diligence and regular reviews.
