The Company is in search of a Vice President to join its Finance Risk and Assurance (FinRiA) team. The successful candidate will lead the Mumbai FinRiA - Finance Operational Risk Incidents governance function, providing oversight and monitoring of operational risk and third-party outsourcing for the global finance division. This role is pivotal in the validation and testing of financial and regulatory reports, as well as the reinforcement of regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures. The Vice President will be responsible for end-to-end processes that demand complex decision-making, a deep understanding of client and stakeholder needs, and subject matter expertise. Collaboration with a diverse group of colleagues in finance and across the firm is essential, as is the ability to produce and review risk reporting, perform monitoring activities, and engage in data analysis for risk management. Candidates for this role at the company should possess an advanced understanding of the finance functional area, industry, and technical skills, including knowledge of risks and key regulations relevant to the division. A strong educational background is required, with an MBA in finance or a Chartered Accountant qualification, and at least 10 years' experience in the finance industry, particularly in operational risk reporting or management reporting. The role demands a proven track record in managerial and leadership skills, the ability to inspire and support others, and a strong focus on client and partner relationships. The ideal candidate will be a committed, self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills, the ability to work to deadlines, and a high regard for attention to detail. Strong technical skills, particularly in MS Office, and the ability to manage risk and create mitigation plans are also essential.
