Executive Director, Enterprise Stress Testing Lead

Greater New York City, NY Area (Hybrid)
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead enterprise stress testing for its Americas Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, governance, and execution of stress tests across various risk categories, including credit, market, liquidity, operational, and non-financial risks. This role also involves the development and management of a CCAR program from a risk perspective, ensuring that stress testing methodologies and processes align with U.S. regulatory expectations and the company's standards. The Executive Director will provide independent challenge, aggregate stress testing outputs for senior management, and integrate results into capital planning and strategic decision-making. Close coordination with various risk and financial functions is essential, as is the drive for continuous enhancement of stress testing capabilities. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' experience in leading stress testing and CCAR initiatives within large and complex banking organizations, with a preference for those with hands-on experience in building out such programs. Deep expertise in stress testing, CCAR, and capital adequacy frameworks is required, along with a strong understanding of U.S. regulatory expectations. The role demands a broad knowledge of financial risk types and their impact on portfolios, as well as the ability to manage regulatory expectations and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of forging strong relationships with business partners, and will have the gravitas to lead strategic discussions, particularly with front office traders and bankers.
