Vice President, Pricing Actuary

The Company is seeking a VP, Pricing Actuary to join their Worldwide Pricing & Analytics team. The successful candidate will serve as a Business Partner for the US MGA Insurance Programs Underwriting Team, providing in-depth profitability analysis of markets, segments, and individual transactions. This role involves leading pricing analysis for the US MGA Insurance Programs business, offering subject matter and functional expertise to both internal and external stakeholders, and leading projects to refine key assumptions. The VP, Pricing Actuary will also be responsible for ensuring that pricing reflects all relevant information by liaising with various teams, including Underwriting, Claims, Reserving, and the Managing Actuary. Additionally, the role includes monitoring the portfolio and underlying risks, utilizing actuarial models, and participating in ad-hoc project teams. Candidates for this position should have 7 to 10 years of work experience, with a preference for those with a background in US MGA Insurance pricing and/or reinsurance pricing. A Bachelor's degree and ACAS or FCAS designation are required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts, as well as actuarial pricing theory. Clear communication, good time management, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. The role also demands critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated intellectual curiosity to expand knowledge. The VP, Pricing Actuary will be expected to navigate existing systems and processes effectively to achieve business objectives and to have the ability to view situations from various perspectives.
