The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its organization. The President and CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors, Council, and specialty boards to shape and execute the organization's mission, and will be the primary representative, responsible for sustaining healthy relationships with a wide range of external constituents. Applicants for the President and CEO position at the company must have an active ABS certification, a minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in a complex healthcare, academic medicine, or medical professional organization, and a deep understanding of medical education, certification processes, and quality assessment in healthcare. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in executive leadership, strategic planning, and organizational management, as well as strong financial acumen and exceptional communication skills. Preferred qualifications include active surgical practice experience, experience with medical specialty boards, and a background in navigating healthcare policy and regulatory environments.
