Head of HR

The Company is seeking a Head of HR for one of its major manufacturing plants in Thailand. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full HR function, with a focus on aligning people strategy with operational priorities and serving as a trusted advisor to site leadership. This hands-on, business-facing leadership role involves leading all HR activities, from workforce planning to offboarding, and requires a strong presence on the floor to enhance employee engagement and morale. The Head of HR will also be instrumental in leading HR aspects of digital transformation, developing talent pipelines, and overseeing union relations, compliance, and diversity initiatives. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, with 10-15 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 10 years in management. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, particularly with union exposure, is essential. The role demands a deep understanding of Thai labor law, compensation and benefits, and modern HR operating models. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Thai and will be adept at coaching HR managers, identifying organizational needs, and mobilizing resources to meet those needs. The Head of HR will also be expected to lead change initiatives and ensure compliance with all HR-related policies and regulations.
