The Company is seeking an AVP, Actuary to take on the role of primary actuarial lead for its Management Liability business. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of activities, including pricing and reserving analyses, rate maintenance, supporting rate filings, and providing strategic business support. This role requires an individual with industry-leading knowledge of Management Liability, particularly in the areas of EPLI, Crime, and D&O coverages. The AVP, Actuary will also be involved in cultivating relationships between the actuarial/analytics unit and other functional support units, developing tools to monitor profitability, and collaborating with various teams on the development of new products or enhancements to existing ones. Applicants for the AVP, Actuary position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years' related work experience. A solid background in the P&C commercial insurance space, including familiarity with typical Management Liability forms and rules, is essential. The role demands a candidate with the ability to self-motivate, lead, and manage a team, as well as extensive knowledge of the insurance industry. Experience in providing on-the-job training and a strong analytical skill set are also required. While not mandatory, a Master's degree and FCAS designation are preferred.
