Vice President, Engineering Greater Dallas, TX Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead its Revenue Cycle Management engineering organization and deliver its roadmap, milestones, and production reliability across a multi-application portfolio. The role includes modernizing tightly coupled legacy systems, managing technology lifecycles, setting defect priorities and release cadence, and building a high-performing team of employees and contractors. The VP will partner with product, architecture, infrastructure, and engineering leaders on roadmap decisions, integrations, shared dependencies, and risk escalation. They will also use AI-assisted engineering tools hands-on, drive their adoption across teams, and partner with product to deliver reliable, compliant AI-powered capabilities. Candidates should have at least 10 years of progressive engineering leadership experience, including three or more years at VP- or Director-level scope, with direct accountability for reliability across multiple teams and applications. Required experience includes managing incidents and alerting/APM expectations, working in a paired product-and-engineering leadership model, leading blended employee and contractor teams, and adopting AI-assisted development, testing, and review practices. Candidates must also have experience shipping AI-powered product features into production and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include experience with revenue cycle workflows, healthcare-related technology, legacy-system modernization, regulated workflows, distributed teams, and applying AI to financial or transactional processes.
