The Company is seeking a Managing Director, Product to lead its commercial and product strategy, set goals, and align product development with investment and distribution priorities. The role involves identifying opportunities to bring investment capabilities to broader markets, assessing capability gaps, and sponsoring initiatives that deliver strategic change. The successful candidate will evaluate industry opportunities, collaborate with corporate strategy on business needs and growth opportunities, and partner with global teams and other functions to implement change. They will also communicate plans and progress to business functions and committees and monitor relevant regulatory and policy developments. Candidates should have a proven record of developing product opportunities in asset management, leading global teams, and working across investment offerings, client segments, and regulatory environments. They need strategic judgment paired with a pragmatic approach to product development, strong technical knowledge of products and operations, and an understanding of applicable regulatory requirements. The role also calls for the ability to recruit and motivate talent, delegate effectively, and manage performance, along with excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging senior leaders and other stakeholders. Experience with multiple investment vehicles and global stakeholder groups is an advantage.
