Head of PMO

The Company is seeking a Head of PMO to lead and mature its portfolio management function. The role focuses on strengthening governance, standardizing project controls and reporting, and improving visibility into delivery performance, risks, dependencies, resources, and financials. The successful candidate will provide senior leaders with reliable portfolio insights, oversee assurance and review processes, and support prioritization and benefits tracking. They will also develop a roadmap for PMO improvement, enhance processes and information flows, and lead the development of PMO capabilities while staying connected to day-to-day delivery. Candidates should have proven experience owning, scaling, or maturing a PMO or portfolio management function, along with experience managing complex project and programme portfolios. A background in a software environment is required; experience in professional services or consulting is advantageous. Strong knowledge of portfolio governance, assurance, project controls, financial forecasting, capacity planning, risks, and dependencies is essential. The role also calls for confident senior-stakeholder engagement, people leadership, and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery. Familiarity with reporting, automation, and project portfolio tools is beneficial.
