Head of Quality & Environment

The Company is seeking a Head of Quality and Environment to lead group-wide quality and environmental management and embed its goals into everyday operations, decision-making, and results. The role includes developing management processes, reporting, indicators, and operating practices in collaboration with business and group functions. The successful candidate will lead a team of experts, oversee risks, deviations, and audits, and advise leadership with clear assessments and recommendations for improvement. They will also anticipate the impact of regulations and standards and guide the responsible use of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies in quality and environmental work. Candidates should bring strong experience in quality and environmental management in a demanding or regulated environment, along with experience implementing strategy and leading teams. Proficiency in quality and environmental management systems, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, is required, as is an understanding of regulation, authority engagement, and audits. Experience across multiple business units is an advantage. A relevant university degree is valued, and the role requires fluent Finnish and English, along with strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
