Vice President, Controller Greater Saint Paul, MN Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Controller to lead financial reporting, consolidation, technical accounting, and equity and compensation accounting. Responsibilities include overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and disclosures; managing consolidation, close processes, external reviews, and audits; and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable reporting requirements. The role will maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting systems while improving the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of financial processes. The successful candidate will also lead and develop accounting staff and collaborate with finance, legal, human resources, technology, and audit stakeholders. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, an active CPA, and at least 15 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, including substantial public company or public accounting experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, financial statement preparation, audits, and technical accounting is required, including equity-based compensation and complex accounting matters. Experience with consolidation, payroll and benefits accounting, incentive compensation, internal controls, and SOX compliance is also expected. Familiarity with financial reporting systems, along with strong leadership, analytical, project management, and communication skills, is essential.
