Senior Advisor to the Deputy Chief Engineer & Executive Vice President of Engineering & Asset Management Remote (anywhere in Canada)

The Company is seeking a Senior Advisor to support executive leadership with divisional priorities, governance, corporate administration, and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include researching and analyzing policies and procedures; coordinating executive, board, and stakeholder reporting; and preparing clear briefings, presentations, reports, speaking notes, and correspondence. The role also manages improvement projects from planning through implementation, develops communications for key initiatives, and brings together input from multiple teams to align priorities and messages. The advisor monitors performance measures and business commitments, analyzes operational and financial information, and provides recommendations while building effective stakeholder relationships. Candidates should have a degree in engineering, architecture, or a related discipline; a professional engineering or project management designation is an asset. Required qualifications include experience advising senior executives, leading multidisciplinary teams, managing projects through implementation, and producing executive-level communications. Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and research skills, change management expertise, and proficiency with structured project management methods are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate sound stakeholder engagement, political acuity, and the ability to synthesize complex technical and business information into concise recommendations; experience in a technical or infrastructure-focused organization and knowledge of performance measurement and corporate reporting are assets.
