Executive Director, Campus Safety Services Remote (anywhere in Ontario)

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Campus Safety Services to provide strategic leadership for campus safety and security operations. Responsibilities include overseeing occupational health and safety, emergency management, business continuity, threat assessment, investigations, and related policies and procedures. The Executive Director will lead emergency response as Incident Commander, coordinate preparedness plans and training, and work with emergency services and other partners. The role also advises senior leadership, oversees security and health and safety teams, manages budgets and performance, and ensures investigations and response processes are fair, confidential, and compliant. Candidates must hold a four-year degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or a related field, and have at least 11 years of relevant experience, including substantial experience in security or policing and leadership. Required qualifications include experience conducting or overseeing investigations, leading organizational change, developing policies and training, and managing emergency and safety initiatives. Candidates should demonstrate strong strategic planning, complex report writing, sound judgment, and the ability to build relationships and resolve complex problems. Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and current practices in safety, security, investigations, and emergency management is also required.
