Vice President of Trucking Operations Greater Jacksonville, FL Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Trucking Operations to provide strategic leadership across multi-site operations, driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, safety, and profitability. Responsibilities include developing growth strategies, pursuing new business, managing customer relationships and contract negotiations, and setting pricing and transportation capacity plans. The role will establish and monitor performance indicators, lead continuous improvement and fleet optimization, analyze financial and operational results, and report performance to executive leadership. It will also champion safety, manage operational risks, and build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and workforce development. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, transportation, or a related field, and have at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations. At least 7–10 years of senior leadership experience overseeing multi-site operations, financial performance, and workforce management is required, along with demonstrated P&L ownership and profitable growth. The role requires extensive knowledge of transportation regulations, including FMCSA and DOT requirements, and strong leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills. Candidates should also be effective at influencing cross-functional teams and building lasting customer relationships.
